Customer Service Advisor Yard – Jewson

Location: Forde Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 4AD
Hours: 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday
Pay: Competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance and 33 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and plot timber materials for Jewson’s major housebuilding customers.
  • Pick and load curtain side vehicles safely and efficiently using a fork lift truck or side loader.
  • Maintain and observe health & safety and housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Work in a warehouse environment, cleaning as you go.
  • Ensure all routine checks are completed accurately within the designated timeframe.
  • Achieve and contribute to health and safety targets.
  • Contribute to overall customer service and satisfaction.
  • Commit to learning and developing within the role.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Previous industry experience preferred but not essential.
  • Customer focussed individual.
  • Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S.
  • Comfortable in a role involving manual handling of bulky items with the use of a fork lift truck or side loader.
