We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Baker to join our team. This role is suited to someone who takes quiet pride in their craft and understands the importance of consistency, care, and early hours in producing quality baked goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a range of breads, pastries, and other baked items
- Follow established recipes and maintain a high standard of quality and hygiene
- Monitor ingredient levels and assist with stock rotation
- Work within a set schedule to ensure timely product availability
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Support the team in day-to-day tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Working 6 days a week.
- Prior baking experience in a commercial or retail setting is preferred
- Solid understanding of baking techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends as required
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a calm, focused work ethic
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a small team
- Able to lift goods up to 20kg (e.g. a sack of flour)
