Outreach Community from all faiths, beliefs and denominations; across all sections of the wider community. Outreach builds support around each person, recognising that everyone is an individual with needs and wishes that are different from each other. Outreach, through its staff (employees and volunteers), supports, facilitates and empowers individuals to make their own choices. This includes being active, contributing, engaging, and trying new things, all towards leading a happy, fruitful, fulfilling, and productive life within their own CQC registered and inspected small shared living environments and the wider generic community.

These services and volunteering opportunities will be greatly enhanced with the opening of our brand-new Outreach hub in Radcliffe town centre. So why not join us and 'Become the difference that makes the difference'.

Quality Focused Volunteering with Outreach

Whether you have a few hours to spare each week, are able to use your skills and expertise in a one-off activity and/or event, or are looking for a longer-term volunteering role, as an Outreach volunteer, you could be empowering and supporting Outreach service users in the promotion of an independent lifestyle and facilitating many more activities in respect of and in relation to the individual choices of service users.

As an Outreach volunteer, we recognise that modern contemporary volunteering is a two-way, win-win process; we aim to meet your needs, wants, and desires based upon your personal drivers. For example, as a student, we enable you to gain essential real-life/real-time experience of supporting service users, allied to your academic learning towards your higher degree and/or chosen career pathway.

To this end, Outreach has a full-time, fully dedicated, quality-focused volunteer programme manager, ensuring that you are fully supported throughout your volunteering experience. We provide training, reflection opportunities, volunteering reward and recognition, and crucially, ensure professional acceptance as a volunteer in roles such as volunteer shadowing. All this occurs within a quality-focused volunteering environment, where you will gain a sense of achievement, increased knowledge, skills, confidence, and wider experiences, while also having fun and the opportunity to make new friends and contacts.
