Are you able to volunteer to help our families claim their benefits? We are looking for a volunteer benefits advisor for a few hours on an ad-hoc basis. You will have knowledge of how to claim benefits and help them complete the often difficult and lengthy forms. The volunteering can take place at our family centre in Hendon, NW4.

Particular support will be in the following areas:

  • DLA
  • PIP
  • Carers Allowance
  • Council Tax Reduction
  • Disabled Facilities Grant
  • Blue Badge

You will be helping our families who claim their benefits; you will be familiar with the benefit paperwork and how to help our families complete their forms.

What additional skills or experience you should have: A DBS check will need to be done prior to starting.

What training we will provide for you: Norwood Training, GDPR & Safeguarding.

What you will get out of volunteering for us: You will get to work as part of a team with our children and family services family centre.
