Looking for volunteers to pick and pack for 30 food banks in North London. We offer flexible volunteering.
Volunteer Tasks
- Pick & pack donated food for food banks.
- Unpack donations and supermarket deliveries.
- Drivers to take donations to local food banks.
- Portion out food into smaller portions for food banks.
Shift Times
- Weekday shifts: 9 am – 12 pm, 12 pm – 3 pm, 3 pm – 5:30 pm.
- Sunday shifts: 12 pm – 3 pm.
We are a central distribution hub that provides food, toiletries and household goods to 30 food banks in North London. Tasks include:
- Place products into crates ready to be sent out to food banks – do not over‑fill as they need to be stacked.
- Unwrap and separate multi packs.
- Split large bags of goods into smaller bags for distribution.
- Replenish the crates with new products arriving at the hub.
Shift Schedules
- 1st shift 8 am – 9 am
- 2nd shift 9 am – 12 pm
- 3rd shift 12 pm – 3 pm
- 4th shift 3 pm – 5:30 pm
We are flexible with shifts, welcoming and appreciating any help in the hub!
