We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Caseworker to support individuals and families across the Essex area with their day‑to‑day paperwork. Paperlite is a monthly visit.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with benefit applications, legal paperwork, housing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Provide guidance and support across bureaucracy, welfare and benefits, correspondence with banks & building societies, form filling, councils, utilities, bills, probate, insurance, divorce and legal issues.
  • Act as advocate, review and complete documents, and if necessary, draft expert opinions in a range of matters.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Previous volunteer experience preferred (not required).

Training:

  • Comprehensive orientation on Paperweight Trust services and procedures.
  • Legal and administrative processes training.
  • Ongoing support and supervision.
