Volunteer Emergency Response Officer Hatzola HBS is all about saving lives and making a difference to members of the community who require emergency care. Once trained, you will be expected to undertake regular shifts responding as a team to pre‑hospital emergencies ranging from elderly falls to cardiac arrest.
Responsibilities
- Maintain our two ambulances on a regular basis, ensuring they are clean and ready for deployment.
- Manage cleaning contracts and coordinate with service providers.
- Liaise with responders and coordinate the rapid deployment of crews.
- Participate in shift rotations to provide 24/7 coverage.
Location & Availability
- Location: Parts of Barnet, Hadley Wood, Whetstone, Totteridge, Southgate, Cockfosters only (In‑Person)
- Age limit: Volunteers aged 18 or over
- Hours per session: Between 6 and 12 hours
- Availability: On‑going – Morning, Afternoon, Evening; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
About Hatzola HBS
A 24/7 Jewish based community wide service providing a rapid response to medical emergencies. Manned entirely by volunteers who have undergone extensive training. We aim to reach patients within minutes of an initial phone call. We will help anyone who contacts our service, regardless of race, creed or colour.
