Do you love working intergenerationally? We are looking for Weekend Warrior Coordinators. Working with 14 – 18 year olds to give them confidence around older adults and enable them to facilitate activities by encouragement.
Responsibilities:
- Work with 14 – 18 year olds to build confidence around older adults and help them facilitate activities.
- Set out activity equipment such as arts and crafts materials, cards, board games, or music.
- Talk with residents to determine activities they would like volunteers to run and plan upcoming sessions.
- Liaise with ADH staff during the week to provide feedback on the volunteers’ role.
What training we will provide for you:
Information about the training and induction provided to volunteers will be supplied by Jewish Care as part of the onboarding process.
