This role directly supports Help 4 the Homeless in its mission to alleviate food insecurity by ensuring surplus food reaches those in need, reducing hunger and food waste, and strengthening community support networks. The food also contributes to the charity’s Thursday meal preparation, providing hot, nutritious meals for vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities
  • Collect refrigerated food from Costco and distribute to the Borehamwood community facing hardship.
  • Drive the refrigerated van from Borehamwood to Costco - Stevenage and back to the distribution location.
  • Coordinate with the team to inform the WhatsApp group of collection point and time.
