This role is central to ensuring that donated goods reach the UK charities who need them most. Volunteers will help manage the order process from start to finish — picking, consolidating, packing and preparing items for collection. Over time, there may also be opportunities to liaise directly with charity partners, building relationships and ensuring smooth distribution.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming order requests from UK charity partners.
- Pick stock items from donations to fulfil orders.
- Consolidate orders into boxes or pallets for easy transport.
- Packing and label goods accurately, ready for collection.
- Maintain clear records of packed orders (items, quantities, recipients).
- Potentially liaise with charity representatives during collections.
- Uphold Goods For Good’s values of respect, dignity, and care when handling items.
