Volunteer Befriender
Neshomo is looking for volunteers to provide companionship, support, encouragement, and a listening ear to adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
Responsibilities
- Meet clients for one hour per week at a prearranged time and location.
- Provide companionship by listening, talking, going for walks, and engaging in activities that encourage life skills, interests, or hobbies.
- Support clients with mental health difficulties while maintaining confidentiality and respect.
