Volunteer Caseworker
We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Caseworker to support individuals and families across the Essex area with their day‑to‑day paperwork. Paperlite is a monthly visit.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with benefit applications, legal paperwork, housing, and other administrative tasks.
- Provide guidance and support across bureaucracy, welfare and benefits, correspondence with banks & building societies, form filling, councils, utilities, bills, probate, insurance, divorce and legal issues.
- Act as advocate, review and complete documents, and if necessary, draft expert opinions in a range of matters.
Qualifications
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Previous volunteer experience preferred (not required).
Training
- Comprehensive orientation on Paperweight Trust services and procedures.
- Legal and administrative processes training.
- Ongoing support and supervision.
