Our multi-award-winning organisation is looking to recruit a Night Care and Support Worker to join our Retirement Living Service. The role is based on a rota, which may include evening and weekend shifts. This pivotal position helps ensure our residents live meaningful lives and feel involved within their community.

The Night Care and Support Worker will deliver care services within our Retirement Living Service to high standards.

This post involves working an average of 35 hours per week on a 2-week rolling rota. Shifts are from 9pm until 7am.

The shift pattern over 2 weeks is:

  • Week 1: Sat, Sun, Thu, Fri
  • Week 2: Mon, Tue, Wed

What you will be doing

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as a Care and Support Worker in our friendly and dedicated team. This key role supports residents. You will:

  • Assist residents with personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks
  • Implement and monitor care & support plans to meet individual needs of tenants
  • Contribute to building community spirit through participating, encouraging, enabling, and facilitating social events that meet tenants\’ diverse needs

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will:

  • Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Desirable, not essential)
  • Have previous experience within a care or health setting
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work shifts, including weekends and evenings
