We have an excellent opportunity for a Meals on Wheels Coordinator to join our amazing Community Services team.

Our Meals on Wheels Coordinator oversees the day-to-day coordination of volunteers to deliver meals; regular liaising with hospitality to ensure meals stock and menus can be delivered; regular communication with users to ensure that the service meets their needs.

This post is part time working 16 hours per week.

  • Monday- 5 hours
  • Tuesday-Wednesday- 4 hours
  • Thursday- 3 hours

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinating of the Meals on Wheels service in collaboration with hospitality.
  • Liaising with the Administration and Member Engagement team to ensure the accurate administration of the meals on wheels service and completion of account management finance tasks.
  • Maintaining an accurate and up to date database of volunteers and members to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Managing of stock levels and ordering of meals.
  • Supporting volunteers and drivers.
  • Maintaining a rota management system for the effective delivery of meals on wheels.
  • Maintaining a system of regular communication with members to ensure outstanding customer service levels.
  • Maintaining KPI systems for meals on wheels service.

What you will need:

  • Experience within an administration and finance role.
  • Hold a relevant business administration qualification
  • Outstanding IT skills and be proficient in MS Office suite including Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding administrative, management and organisational skills
