Jewells is a fast‑paced, fashion jewellery brand on a mission to make premium jewellery accessible to everyone. We combine trend‑led design, strong price positioning, and high‑impact store experiences to drive standout retail performance. With ambitious growth plans, we’re building something big – and doing it differently.

We are seeking a creative, commercially driven, and highly organised Visual Merchandiser / Space Planner to join our fast‑paced team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the in‑store experience, ensuring our collections are displayed to enhance brand impact and drive revenue. You will bridge the gap between creative vision and operational reality, ensuring every Jewells location reflects our premium standards and each product is working to its space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Planning & Execution
    • Space Planning: Space Management & Planning within our prong system to maximise collections and ensure correct stock allocations.
    • Planogram Development: Create detailed, actionable planograms and visual guidelines that provide clear instruction to store teams on stock placement, rotations, and merchandising transitions.
    • Customer Journey Optimisation: Ensure all product presentation supports intuitive customer navigation, impactful storytelling, and informed purchasing decisions.
    • Mock Shop Management: Organise and maintain the office‑based mock shop, ensuring product and displays are meticulously curated and easily accessible for all cross‑functional teams.
    • In‑Store Implementation: Conduct regular store visits to lead key merchandising moves, ensuring excellence execution that aligns with brand standards.
    • VM Curation: Lead the creation of VM kits, identifying and sourcing the necessary tools and equipment to support store teams.
    • Brand Standards: Guarantee that all graphics, signage, and Point of Sale (POS) materials are implemented. Review and approve photographic evidence of store changes to maintain a 'gold standard' across the business.
  • Commercial Strategy & Analysis
    • Commercial Intelligence: Utilise sales data and store insights to identify best‑sellers and underperforming categories, proactively adjusting layouts to maximise sell‑through.
    • Operational Alignment: Contribute to store planning and operational meetings, ensuring all visual activity is synchronized with company goals and retail timetables.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Product & Lifecycle Management: Maintain a deep understanding of the product lifecycle, working closely with the Product Team to stay ahead of upcoming launches and stock arrivals.
    • Marketing & Design Partnership: Partner with Design and Marketing departments to develop brand‑aligned signage that enhances the overall customer journey.
    • Retail Operations Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for retail teams, providing clear, concise, and timely communications regarding floor sets and change‑over schedules.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven track record in a fast‑paced retail visual merchandising and space planning environment.
  • Visual Excellence: A sharp eye for detail, composition, and aesthetic balance, with a relentless commitment to brand integrity.
  • Commercial Data: Ability to interpret sales reports and data to drive strategic merchandising decisions.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to translate high‑level creative concepts into simple, 'easy‑to‑follow' instructions for field staff.
  • Organizational Mastery: Strong project management skills with the ability to navigate multiple deadlines in an evolving environment.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A proactive team player who thrives when working across departments to achieve shared business objectives.

This is not a 'maintain the standard' role – this is an opportunity to shape and elevate a brand in real time. You’ll play a key part in bringing the Jewells vision to life across our stores, creating environments that stop customers in their tracks and drive real commercial impact.

We’re looking for someone who is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and obsessed with detail – someone who thrives in a dynamic retail environment and isn’t afraid to challenge what 'good' looks like. This role will require travel across the UK to support our store network, ensuring consistency, execution, and continuous elevation of our visual standards.

If you’re passionate about retail, love turning ideas into reality, and want to be part of building something ambitious – we’d love to hear from you.
