We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to join a highly respected luxury jewellery business within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and detail-oriented individual with a passion for diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewellery to become part of an expert team supporting sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and client requirements within the luxury sector. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting daily operations while working closely with buying, sales, production, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Buying Support
    • Assist with the day-to-day procurement and sourcing activities of the department
    • Prepare gemstones and diamonds for internal review and supplier inspection
    • Coordinate and process supplier returns where required
    • Prepare purchasing documentation, pricing sheets, and supporting administration
    • Process final purchasing paperwork accurately and efficiently
    • Track and maintain certification records and associated documentation
  • Client Requests & Quotations
    • Search existing inventory to fulfil client enquiries and bespoke requests
    • Support sourcing activities for specialist or difficult-to-obtain stones
    • Liaise with internal departments regarding bespoke and made-to-order projects
    • Prepare quotations and pricing information for the sales team
  • Inventory & Logistics
    • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory systems
    • Carry out regular physical stock checks of diamonds and coloured gemstones
    • Identify and prepare stones for production requirements
    • Coordinate shipments and supplier deliveries alongside logistics teams
    • Support stock accuracy, organisation, and movement control procedures
  • Market & Auction Support
    • Assist with market research and pricing preparation
    • Support pre-sale and post-sale administration activities
    • Maintain internal schedules and procurement tracking systems

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience within the luxury jewellery, diamond, or gemstone industry
  • Strong passion for fine jewellery and gemstones
  • GIA certification or strong diamond grading knowledge highly desirable
  • Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced luxury environment
  • Strong communication and administrative skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Confident working both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
