An exciting opportunity to join the Procurement team of a prestigious luxury jewellery house, supporting the flow of exceptional stones from sourcing through to production. Working at the heart of the stone supply process, you will help ensure that stones are selected, received, assessed, tracked and passed onto production seamlessly across a diverse range of high jewellery creations. The role offers exposure to the journey of exceptional stones from sourcing and selection through to their incorporation into finished jewellery, while working closely with a variety of specialist teams across the business.
This is a hands-on and fast-paced role, requiring an individual with outstanding organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and pace. The role involves close collaboration with teams across the business. It is therefore suited to someone who is naturally proactive, highly organised and confident in communicating with others, while being equally comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the selection, inspection and quality control of stones, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Monitor and coordinate incoming shipments of stones.
- Coordinate and manage the movement of stones into production for a wide range of high jewellery pieces.
- Maintain, track and regularly update departmental files and records, ensuring all stone-related information is accurate, current and easily accessible to the relevant teams.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of stone availability, movements, requirements and production status.
- Work closely with Shipping, Production, Planning and other internal teams to ensure the timely and seamless flow of stones throughout the business.
- Proactively follow up on deliveries, outstanding requirements and potential delays, ensuring issues are identified and addressed promptly.
- Use Excel and internal systems confidently to maintain detailed trackers, analyse information and monitor the progress of stone requirements.
- Support the wider Stone Sourcing team with the organisation and coordination of day-to-day activities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Has a genuine appreciation for quality, craftsmanship and the high standards associated with fine and high jewellery.
- Holds a Gemological Institute of America qualification or equivalent recognised gemmological qualification.
