Overview Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Time-Served or Trainee Jeweller/Goldsmith role located in Ayr. The Time-Served or Trainee Jeweller/Goldsmith will be responsible for crafting and repairing bespoke jewellery pieces to the highest standards using traditional and modern techniques.
Core responsibilities include:- Engaging with clients to understand their design needs and provide expert guidance on jewellery creation and repair.
- Crafting and repairing bespoke jewellery pieces to high standards using traditional and modern techniques.
- Setting gemstones, resizing, and polishing jewellery as required.
- Contributing to custom jewellery creation projects and maintaining quality control across pieces.
- Participating in training with the Master Goldsmith/Diamond Setter and developing skills accordingly.
- Professional experience in jewellery crafting techniques, including stone setting, engraving, and soldering.
- Proficiency in repairing, resizing, and restoring fine jewellery.
