RaceShare is a horse racing syndicate that began in November 2022. We offer 40/100/500 share syndicates. We have had outstanding results since launch with winners already, including the York Ebor meeting, Shergar Cup, York Dante meeting, Victor Ludorum hurdle, etc. Our lead investor Patrick Veitch is a renowned bloodstock expert and buys all our horses.

As a start-up, there is a wide variety of areas that you will either oversee or have input in. We are a small team and everyone has a say on most things that will shape the future of the business, which a lot of businesses can’t offer at this level.

You will help in areas such as:

  • Social media, including writing posts and editing video content for our channels and managing our Facebook group community
  • Customer service, including answering emails and calls from our owners
  • On-course representation on racedays, including securing content and meeting owners
  • Representing the RaceShare Team at stable visits and other events
  • Keeping our website up-to-date, including writing news stories
  • Writing and collating weekly updates for our horses (currently 20+ horses)
  • Liaising with racecourses and organising badges for our runners ahead of racedays
  • Sending emails to owners, including content from the track when we have runners

As the successful candidate, you will above all be personable and likeable, and therefore a team player, who is keen to help out wherever needed. You must be organised and, with the team working remotely, be able to work from home efficiently and reliably. You must be diligent, conscientious and have excellent attention to detail. You must be willing to travel across the country when required for runners - however, we always choose representatives based on proximity, so if you are based in Wiltshire, you won’t be asked to go to Scotland. You must be willing to be on camera - at the races and producing videos for both social media and owners. You must be adaptable to change within the business (such as enacting a change in policy).

The nature of the job means it involves work outside of hours, for example a runner at 8pm on a Friday night at Wolverhampton, and most weekends to some degree (such as checking entries on a Saturday and sending to owners if there are any - but there could be nothing else for the rest of that day).

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • 20 days of annual leave, plus
