We are a family run saddlery business specialising in racing equipment for racing yards, stable staff, and jockeys, alongside a selection of general riding equipment. A large part of our business is our busy workshop, where we carry out repairs for many of the leading racing yards and jockeys across the UK. From race riding equipment to everyday tack repairs, we take pride in delivering high quality craftsmanship and reliable service. We also undertake a wide range of general leather repairs and bespoke work.
This is a Leathersmith position within our team. Previous experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential, as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for racing equipment, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for creating and repairing leather products by hand. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a skilled trade and become part of a hardworking, close knit team within the racing industry.
Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and bespoke leather work for race riding equipment and general tack.
- Inspect equipment for quality and ensure high standards of craftsmanship.

Qualifications & Attributes
