About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Aircraft Trimmer to join our on-site team in Uxbridge.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for trimming, fitting, and assembling interior components of aircraft — including seats, panels, sidewalls, and carpets — with precision and attention to detail. You’ll work closely with engineers and technicians to bring aircraft interiors to life, ensuring every finish meets our exceptional standards of craftsmanship, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trim, fit, and assemble aircraft interior components such as panels, seats, and carpets.
  • Measure, cut, and sew materials accurately according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair upholstery and interior components as required.
  • Ensure all work meets aviation safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams to deliver on-time results.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas to a professional standard.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the interior assembly process.

About You

  • Proven experience in trimming, fitting, or assembling aircraft or high-end automotive interiors.
  • Strong skills in measuring, cutting, and sewing materials to precise specifications.
  • Solid understanding of upholstery repair and maintenance techniques.
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship.
  • Familiarity with aviation safety, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant technical training or certification in aircraft interiors or upholstery (preferred).
