We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Stores Assistant to join our dynamic maintenance and engineering team. You will be responsible for supporting aircraft maintenance operations through the efficient management of parts, tools, and materials within the stores department.

Bournemouth Aviation Services Ltd (BASL) is part of the Jetfly Group. Jetfly is a leader of fractional aircraft ownership in Europe for both business and private aviation. BASL is one of our Aircraft Maintenance Centers based in Bournemouth Airport. Our teams are experienced specialists trained by Pilatus who look after the aircraft to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and issue aircraft parts, tools, and consumables in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate stock records using the inventory management system.
  • Ensure proper storage and labelling of components to meet safety and traceability standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers and maintenance staff to support ongoing aircraft projects.
  • Assist with stock checks, audits, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and airworthiness procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, in line with business needs.

Profile

  • Previous experience in an aviation stores, logistics, or warehousing environment (is an advantage not 100% necessary).
  • Understanding of aircraft parts, tooling, and certification requirements (e.g., EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3).
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet time‑sensitive maintenance schedules.
  • Computer literacy (experience with inventory or MRO systems advantageous).
  • Right to work in the UK.
