Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – Charter and Airline Sales to join our dynamic team. You will drive sales growth by developing and managing relationships with independent tour operators, brokers and corporate clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the leisure travel industry, strong negotiation skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities.

As our Sales Manager – Charter and Airline Sales, you’ll have access to a wide range of benefits including:

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll develop and execute sales strategies, achieve revenue targets and expand market share, particularly in the Business Travel and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions (MICE) markets.
  • You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with charter brokers, tour operators and corporate clients to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • You’ll analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • You’ll lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals and manage contract agreements in line with company policies.
  • You’ll prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets and reports, providing regular updates on performance metrics.
  • You’ll represent the company at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to promote services and generate new business.
  • You’ll deputise for the GM – Charter & Airline Sales including interacting at Director level as and when required.

What you’ll have:

  • You’ll have management experience, ideally with a minimum of 5 years experience in sales within the aviation, airline, travel management or business travel industry.
  • You’ll possess a strong understanding of charter operations, airline contracts, aviation market dynamics and business travel needs.
  • An understanding of the role that aviation plays in the MICE industry.
  • You’ll have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
  • You’ll have excellent negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • You’ll have strong coaching, mentoring and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop sales professionals.
  • You’ll have the ability to set clear expectations, goals and KPIs for the sales team and hold team members accountable.
  • You’ll be a strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • You’ll have strong problem-solving skills and commercial acumen.
  • You’ll have the ability to travel as required.
