What will you do in the role? As Technical Records Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft technical data is recorded, maintained, and logged correctly in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Jet2.com requirements. Working with aircraft flight logs, maintenance records and audits as well as component part tags, this job ensures the accuracy of all data, assisting with its use in improving the performance and reliability of the Jet2.com fleet. You will collect daily flight logs and maintenance work records, input data into the AMOS IT system and ensure its accuracy and compliance with Jet2.com standards. You will scan and index paper records and liaise closely with the storage facility to file or retrieve information as necessary, maintaining a consistent index model so that all archived data is in the same format and location. In addition, you will report to the appropriate Team any incomplete or inaccurate records and follow up corrections made.
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and will be highly organised. Excellent time management skills, evidenced by your ability to manage and record large amounts of data quickly and accurately. You will have the ability to work to deadlines and have experience of task planning, ideally within a records department. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
