Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are always looking for great people to join our award-winning team of colleagues. We’re looking to hire a Resource Planner - Ground Operations to join our Resource Planning Team. We have both Fixed-term and Permanent roles available.

Reporting to the Resource Planning Supervisor - Ground Operations, our Resource Planner - Ground Operations will be responsible for the production of accurate and detailed resource requirement plans for all Jet2.com Ground Operations colleagues. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the ongoing availability of Ground Operations colleagues across our operational bases to meet a continuously developing flying programme throughout the year.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be responsible for producing resource requirement plans and availability forecasts for all Ground Operations colleagues within Jet2.com.
  • Work closely with the Crew Training and Rostering Teams to manage resource availability and also with the Operations Teams regarding operational contribution levels.
  • Work to identify any shortfalls in staffing and optimal periods to allocate training and advise the relevant parties.
  • Work closely with other teams to evaluate ongoing crew training needs and ensure these are scheduled in an efficient and cost-effective way.
  • Provide a link to the Recruitment Team to provide insight into annual requirements and schedule new joiner timescales.

What you’ll have:

  • Excellent IT skills, and be confident in the use of Microsoft Excel, with an analytical and forward-thinking approach to problem solving.
  • Be an excellent communicator and a positive and supportive team member.
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a “can do” attitude.
  • Resource planning experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
