As our new Talent Acquisition Partner – Flight Operations, you will be a key part of a high performing internal recruitment team responsible for executing the ongoing resourcing needs for our Flight Operations departments, specifically Pilots.

As our Talent Acquisition Partner – Flight Operations, you’ll have access to a wide range of benefits including:

This is a highly visible role in the Talent Acquisition team, and you will be responsible for the delivery of Pilots & Flight Operations candidates against the headcount plan for our ongoing recruitment campaigns.

Working closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, the role will include:

  • Candidate Sourcing: You'll work hard to attract best in class candidates using a range of platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, our applicant tracking system and through marketing campaigns.
  • Candidate Management: You will be readily available for candidates, representing the Jet2 Pilot brand positively in the marketplace offering expert knowledge of the Jet2 operation with a clear understanding of the most efficient methods of communicating to our target candidates.
  • Employer Branding: Working closely with internal stakeholders and Talent Acquisition Management, you will identify promotional opportunities and execute a Pilot Roadshow plan (in-person events) hosting at locations in the UK and abroad, as well as webinars and occasional industry careers events such as Pilot Careers Live.
  • Assessment Centre Reviews & Development: You will have shared responsibility for the delivery of a best-in-class assessment process for Pilots at all levels (Cadet through to Captain), with a focus on representing best practice to key stakeholders to influence changes where necessary and ensuring Pilot Assessors (Ambassadors) are well trained in interview and employer branding techniques.
  • Research, Data and Analytics: You’ll work closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to provide regular and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders.
  • Compliance: You will champion ATS compliance for requisition and candidate management.

You’ll have a proven track record in aviation recruitment, ideally with hands-on Pilot recruiting experience. A strong understanding of Pilot recruiting and the regulation surrounding it, with hands-on experience of working for an Airline, Flight School or in the aviation industry (including regulators or aircraft manufacturing).

Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and how to build warm pipelines to support delivery against ongoing volume recruitment campaigns. Excellent at communicating to both internal hiring managers, candidates and the external market. A strong personal brand on LinkedIn, etc., talking all things Talent. Creativity and persistence in abundance with an enthusiasm for delivering a great candidate and customer experience as well as working knowledge of recruitment best practice, including processes and regulation.
