Jet2 is the UK’s number one tour operator and a firm customer favourite. To achieve this, our UK bases are self-handled, reducing our reliance on third parties for ground operation services. Each base is managed by a current line Captain supported by a dedicated crew development team, there to manage your professional and personal journey.

Our B737 regular schedule is almost entirely 2 sector days with full time Captains flying on average less than 750 hours each year. Our in-house ATO has 2 UK based training centres, and Captains are eligible for over 20 secondary roles in our training, technical or pastoral teams.

  • 3,000 hours total flying time with 1,000 hours PIC on B737 or similar sized jet aircraft.
  • Ideally, large jet command time in the last 3 years.

  • Transparent and fair base transfer policy – based on seniority of request rather than time in company.
  • Two sector days- with options for a.m or p.m preferencing.
  • Roster publication in week one of each month covering to the last day of the following month.
  • Live free bidding for 37 annual leave days– instant confirmation, not based on company seniority.
