We're looking for a Lead Ecommerce Merchandiser to support our Marketing area of the business. Reporting to the Ecommerce Merchandising Manager, our Lead Ecommerce Merchandiser will leverage digital behavioural analysis to guide merchandising decisions and support personalisation testing throughout our web and app platforms. Your leadership will be key in defining, executing, and continuously refining the merchandising strategy, driving both customer engagement and business growth.
Please note that this role will be offered as a 15 month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave. Hybrid working (we're in the office 2 days per week).
What you'll do:
- Lead strategy development for merchandising, using dataâdriven insights to guide decisions and inform crossâfunctional initiatives on effectiveness of content.
- Lead process improvement within Merchandising, including introducing efficiencies in workflow, campaign launches and BAU work.
- Own merchandising process (intake briefs and prioritisation), manage brief delegation and ensure optimal execution of initiatives between 5 editors and 2 testers.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders (UX, CRO, Product, Revenue) to deliver customerâfirst digital experiences, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Mentor and guide the merchandising team supporting the growth of junior team members.
- Take a proactive role in managing project timelines, ensuring key initiatives are delivered on time and within resource.
What you'll have:
- Proven experience in ecommerce merchandising, with a strong track record of managing key projects and driving results. Familiarity with the Adobe suite or similar ecommerce tools is a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and interpret trends from data, translating insights into actionable merchandising strategies that enhance user experience and business performance.
- Solid understanding of ecommerce ecosystems, including the key drivers of digital performance and customer engagement, and how to leverage them effectively for business growth.
- Collaborationâfocused with a teamâoriented approach, with experience working closely with crossâfunctional teams (UX, CRO, Product, Revenue) to execute ecommerce initiatives and optimise customer journeys.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey insights and recommendations to various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear understanding across departments.
