Tooling Storekeeper

We’re delighted to announce an exciting opportunity within our Hangar at Leeds Bradford Airport, to join Jet2.com at an exciting period of growth, Working as One Team to help our all-important customers Have a lovely holiday., The Tooling Storekeeper will Take Responsibility ensuring that all aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed, handled and located correctly, whilst adhering to published Engineering procedures and operating to a high standard in relation to aircraft safety. The Tooling Storekeeper will also:

• Carry out routine inspections of aircraft tooling, conducting minor maintenance and ensure any potential defective tooling is efficiently and cost effectively dispatched for repair or calibration

• You will take a proactive approach to ensure service levels are kept to a high standard

• Maintain records of all transactions in a diligent and accurate manner

• Liaise with internal and external departments/suppliers

• Ensure relevant Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment bulletins are actioned appropriately

• Uphold the Tooling departments Mission Statement of ‘Right Tool, Right Place, Right time’, After a period of training, it is expected that the Tooling Storekeeper will work on 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern.

• Have excellent organisation and Communication skills, ensuring a clean and tidy work environment is always maintained

• You will have experience of working with Tooling equipment and ideally have a good understanding of the aviation sector

• Knowledge of tooling/stores processes

• You will have a proactive and pragmatic approach, as well as the ability to prioritise work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

• Continuous Improvement Mindset

• Be flexible and willing to support the needs of the operation

• Have excellent attention to detail

• The successful candidate would require a full UK driving license
