Jet2.com is seeking a highly organised and experienced Production Planner to join our dynamic Base Maintenance team in Manchester. In this critical role, you’ll coordinate and deliver accurate work packages to support safe, efficient aircraft maintenance operations.
Working closely with Engineering Planning, Check Controllers, and Hangar Management, you’ll oversee end-to-end planning activities—from workload forecasting and spares management to documentation control and roster support.
This is a Monday–Friday role, based in Manchester, with potential to move to a 4-on-4-off shift pattern as the business grows. Occasional ADHOC support may also be required at our Leeds Hangar.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and coordinate Base Maintenance work packages in AMOS, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and readiness for execution.
- Resource & Materials Coordination: Forecast workloads, plan manpower, confirm third-party support, and manage spares/tooling preloads to ensure all materials are in place before checks begin.
- Operational & Document Support: Lead pre-input meetings, prepare and page-turn work packs, support live inputs, and conduct in-check audits. Assist with roster administration to maintain shift coverage and resource allocation.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in aircraft maintenance planning within a commercial aviation environment.
- Strong knowledge of AMOS, CAA Part 145/CAMO, MPD/AMP, and maintenance planning logic.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced data handling/reporting skills.
- Confident leading cross-functional meetings and supporting engineering rosters.
