As an Engineering Technical Trainer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the capability of our Engineering teams at Jet2.com. You’ll deliver high-quality technical training across a range of aviation subjects, while helping to continuously evolve our training programmes to meet the needs of a growing and dynamic operation. Based at either Leeds Bradford Airport or Manchester Airport, this is a fantastic opportunity to combine your technical expertise with a passion for developing others—making a real impact on safety, standards, and performance across our Engineering function.

What will you do in the role?
- Support the Engineering Training & Development Manager in delivering and evolving the Engineering training portfolio.
- Deliver engaging technical training across a range of aviation subjects.
- Identify, develop, and review training needs and course content.
- Adapt delivery styles to suit a variety of learning needs and environments.
- Deliver training at sites including Bradford, Manchester Hangar, and other Jet2.com locations across the UK and Europe.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all training activity.
- Work closely with Learning & Development and key stakeholders to align training delivery.
- Undertake additional duties in line with business needs.
The successful candidate:
- Solid skills/experience in one or several of the priority areas for learning activities: Part 145 Recurrent Training (Human Factors, Safety Management, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, and Aircraft General Familiarisation Courses, for example).
- Experience of training in an Engineering Aviation Environment, or from a similarly regulated environment preferable.
- Proven record of excellent people skills, including good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding and experience in facilitation of training in EASA Part 147/Part 145/Part M/Part CAMO and Part 21 Organisations or similarly regulated.
