We're looking for a Senior Internal Communications Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Internal Communications and Engagement, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering clear, engaging and insight-led communications that keep our colleagues informed, connected and engaged. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and forward-thinking communications professional who can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, build strong relationships across the business and use insight to continually improve how we communicate with our colleagues.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead communications delivery – coordinate communication and engagement plans, managing the communications calendar to ensure activity is well organised, joined up and delivered on time.
  • Coach and develop others – provide day‑to‑day leadership, guidance and support to colleagues, helping to prioritise workload, build capability and confidence, and maintain high standards across the team.
  • Create clear and engaging communications – write, edit and oversee content across a range of colleague communication channels, ensuring messages are clear, accurate, engaging and aligned to our key business priorities.
  • Shape and improve our channels – use insight, feedback and performance data to identify opportunities to improve channel effectiveness, reach and engagement, helping us continually evolve how we communicate with colleagues.
  • Colleague Engagement activity – support the delivery of colleague engagement campaigns, events, surveys, pulse checks and feedback activity, evaluating their impact and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Use insight to influence – monitor communication and engagement performance, interpreting data and colleague feedback to identify trends, generate insights and make recommendations that shape future activity and strategy.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships – work collaboratively with teams across the business, providing communication advice and support, building trusted relationships and constructively challenging and influencing where appropriate.

What you’ll have:

  • Experience in Internal Communications, Engagement, HR, Marketing or a similar role, with strong creative writing, editing and communication skills.
  • Experience developing forward thinking communication plans, managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience coaching and developing colleagues, with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A proactive, forward-thinking approach, with strong analytical skills and the ability to use insight and feedback to improve communications and engagement.
  • Excellent attention to detail, sound judgement and good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint. Working knowledge of creative design software also desirable.
