Responsibilities:
- Aligned to one of our Data Domains, you’ll be working with multiple technical teams to deliver multiple initiatives.
- Responsible for the elicitation, analysis, documentation and validation of requirements.
- Working with Data Governance to update and maintain the Data Catalogue to ensure consistent definitions across the Business.
- Create Business Process Models and Data Models, working with Data Information Architecture to visualise workflows and data structures.
- Utilise deep questioning techniques with stakeholders to understand how data will be used, ensuring deliverables allow for actionable decision‑making.
- Understand and document any areas of risk, dependencies, or compliance impacts.
Qualifications:
- You’ll have 3-5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally in an agile environment.
- Proficiency in Requirements Engineering, translating Business needs into clear requirements and supporting the delivery of data products.
- Experience creating Business Process Models and Data Models.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to simplify complexity.
- Strong understanding of the Data Life Cycle and the intrinsic value of data.
- You’ll have experience in working in a fast‑paced environment, managing competing workloads and prioritising appropriately.
- You’ll have experience in line managing, coaching, mentoring and developing more junior colleagues or you’ll be looking to build on your line management or coaching experience.
