The Operations Control Centre (OCC) within Jet2 is one of the busiest areas to work within the company. This is the area of the business where the decisions made have a direct impact on our Customers, Aircraft and Colleagues. With this comes a lot of responsibility but also a lot of pride. If you want a role where no 2 days will be the same and to be involved in an area that has arguably the biggest impact on our day to day flying programme, then our Operations Control Centre is the place you want to be!
Reporting to the Operations Controller, our Operations Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring the operational flying programme and coordinating support from all teams ensuring that we are operating safely and in accordance with all Company and Statutory requirements. This role plays a vital role in the achievement of Jet2.com’s On Time Performance targets. This role will work across a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off - 12 hour).

What you’ll be doing:
- Provide support to all flying operations with particular attention to weather, aircraft serviceability, crewing status and other potential issues that may have an adverse impact.
- Be able to think outside of the box but also follow company procedures and policies to ensure the safety of colleagues, customers, and company assets.
- Maintain a flight watch of all company flights and ensure accurate tracking of each aircraft as well as ensuring all flight information is completed and correctly entered and distributed as required.
Hours per Week: 40.
Team: Operations Control.
Qualifications:
- Ideally have previous experience working within an airline operations environment.
- Any experience within ground operations, passenger handling, and flying would be an advantage.
- Experience as a supervisor or manager in a customer facing or non-airline operational role would also be considered.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of On Time Performance with experience of working under your own initiative and to tight timescales.
- Be a supportive and effective team worker.
