Reporting to the Commercial Planning Manager and working closely with the Senior Commercial Planning Executive, our Commercial Planning Executive will work in the mid to long term planning teams. These teams are responsible for developing the flying programme to support the growth of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays in line with strategic objectives.

What you\’ll do:
- You\’ll ensure the flying programme is kept updated to reflect the latest known changes (e.g. maintenance, aircraft deliveries, slot position) ready for handover to the short-term team at 45 days.
- You\’ll work closely with our Revenue team and independently to regularly review sales trends and suggest both ad-hoc and longer-term changes to the flying programme.
- You\’ll work with the slot team to minimise the impact (commercially and customer) of any required slot changes.
- You\’ll ensure, wherever possible, the programme is fixed ahead of roster publication to minimise roster disruption. To ensure where changes are made, updated activity plans are supplied to financial, commercial and operational areas of the business.
What you\’ll have:
- Be a keen problem solver and creative thinker with a strong commercial approach.
- Ability to analyse multiple sources of data and come to justified conclusions.
- Be able to effectively document and communicate complex proposals for approval at director level.
- Have strong IT skills with an ability to become fluent in bespoke software.
- Strong Excel skills desirable to be able to update, develop and improve suite of reports produced.
- Enthusiasm towards aviation and travel sector.
