What You're Doing As part of our Belfast Engineering Team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability and on-time performance of our fleet. Working in a fast-paced line maintenance environment, you'll be trusted to make critical technical decisions and ensure our aircraft are ready for departure. In this role, you'll:
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Jet2.com aircraft in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Certify maintenance activities and release aircraft to service, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance are maintained.
- Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects efficiently, minimising disruption to the operation.
- Support aircraft turnarounds and respond to operational priorities in a dynamic airport environment.
- Collaborate closely with Engineers, Mechanics, Flight Crew and Operations teams to keep our aircraft moving safely and on time.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation and records are completed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
- Promote a positive safety culture by maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship, compliance and attention to detail.
What We're Looking For We're looking for a safety-focused B2 Licensed Engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance standards. You'll have:
- A UK CAA Part-66 B2 Licence with experience working on commercial aircraft.
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ideally, current type approvals on the Boeing 737-800NG, Boeing 737-300 and/or Airbus A321 CEO/NEO fleets.
- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices and fault-finding techniques.
- The ability to make sound decisions and remain calm under pressure in an operational environment.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- A meticulous approach to safety, compliance and quality.
