What will you do in the role?

  • As A Licensed Mechanic you will perform aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory airworthiness standards and Jet2.com policy.
  • This role ensures aircraft presented to customers are serviceable, on time and clean.
  • You will undertake scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and carry out pre-flight, daily and weekly checks.
  • Licensed Mechanics will take responsibility for rectification and repair, certification of all servicing and maintenance tasks within your scope of approval.
  • You will manage documentation for aircraft under your control and be available at short notice for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.

What do we need from you?

  • The successful candidate will ideally hold a UK CAA / EASA PART 66 Category A Licence with experience on commercial aircraft.
  • Experience with Boeing and Airbus is advantageous.
  • You will need a full UK Driving Licence and clear DBS check.
  • You will be highly organised and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
