We are seeking a Trade Sales Analyst to work within our multi-award-winning Trade Sales department. This team works with our independent Travel Agent partners across the country to sell Jet2holidays. The Trade Sales department is a vital route to market for our business.

The Trade Sales Analyst will provide the Travel Agents with their sales performance for Jet2holidays. Our analysts are vital to our success, providing valuable information and analysis on recent performance, forward bookings, and patterns on routes, destinations, or products. This information gives us a roadmap for growth, offering insights into areas for improvement and how to stay ahead of the competition.

This role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. As our Trade Sales Analyst, you will have access to a range of benefits, including:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis of daily and weekly sales, including MTD, YTD, FYTD Trade Performance.
  • Respond to requests for information or analysis from within the Trade Team or other departments.
  • Turn high-level MI requirements into Trade Tableau visualizations using accurate and tested data.
  • Provide competitor analysis, including trends in prices and the effect of promotions on our sales.
  • Maintain and develop existing performance tracking tools used within the Trade Team on Tableau.
  • Provide analysis on forward bookings, including patterns and year-on-year performance by route, destination, or product.
  • Maintain usable and accurate historical sales and information for benchmarking analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Learn the nature of Jet2holidays Trade business and operation, referencing the Independent Travel Agent sales market.
  • Constantly improve the current Trade Data, MI, and Tableau visualization.

Requirements:

  • Experience in MI creation is essential, with experience using Tableau required.
  • Experience in producing management information and financial or sales analysis.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify, interpret, and communicate business trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Passion for data and using it to highlight areas of strong or underperformance.
  • Ability to turn data into actionable insight.
