What will you do in the role? The Tooling Storekeeper will take responsibility for ensuring that all aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed, handled and located correctly, whilst adhering to published engineering procedures and operating to a high standard in relation to aircraft safety. The Tooling Storekeeper will also carry out routine inspections of aircraft tooling, conducting minor maintenance and ensure any potential defective tooling is efficiently and cost effectively dispatched for repair or calibration. You will take a proactive approach to ensure service levels are kept to a high standard, maintain records of all transactions in a diligent and accurate manner, liaise with internal and external departments/suppliers, and ensure relevant Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment bulletins are actioned appropriately. Uphold the Tooling department's Mission Statement of ‘Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time’.

What do we need from you? The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills, ensuring a clean and tidy work environment is always maintained. You will have experience of working with tooling equipment and ideally have a good understanding of the aviation sector. Knowledge of tooling/stores processes is essential. Apply your technical mindset to this technical role. You will have a proactive and pragmatic approach, as well as the ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A continuous improvement mindset is required, along with flexibility and willingness to support the needs of the operation. Excellent attention to detail is a must. The successful candidate would require a full UK driving license.
