Role Overview

As the Warehouse Systems Analyst you will act as the key intermediary between the warehouse operation, the Jet2 IT team, our WMS/WCS providers and, in time, our automation provider. You will respond to issues raised by warehouse users, resolve them, and own them to completion. This role is based five days a week at our Middlewich Warehouse.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Application support for Jet2’s WMS and WCS platforms.
  • Onsite desktop/IT support – liaising with Jet2 IT as necessary.
  • Escalate issues to our WMS and WCS suppliers and ensure incidents are managed through to completion.
  • Master data management and system administration of WMS and WCS systems.
  • Report writing.
  • Manage small projects.
  • Contribute to out‑of‑hours support for the site.
  • Assist in specification, testing and implementation of small changes to systems.
  • Proactively monitor on‑site systems.

What You’ll Have

  • Demonstrable working knowledge of Warehouse Management and Control Systems.
  • Desktop support, including Windows operating systems, browsers and peripheral management.
  • Hand‑held terminal support.
  • Networking – TCP/IP, LAN, WAN and patching.
  • Experience using service‑management tools, ServiceNow preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse automation is an advantage, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills (Scada or Vanderlande advantageous).
  • Understanding of SQL with good experience using PowerBI.
