Working as part of the Infrastructure Team, you’ll combine project‑based delivery with 2nd and 3rd line support, helping to enhance and operate a large, complex, and business‑critical hybrid infrastructure estate covering compute, storage, virtualisation, containers and cloud services. This is an opportunity to work hands‑on with enterprise‑scale on‑prem and AWS cloud platforms, influence technical direction, and contribute to continuous improvement across Jet2’s infrastructure services. The platforms you support play a direct role in the availability, resilience and security of Jet2’s operations, making engineering quality and reliability essential.
As our IT Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll have access to a wide range of benefits including:

What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, planning and implementing scalable, secure and resilient infrastructure solutions, including:
- On‑prem and AWS‑based IaaS (compute, storage and networking) & Virtualisation and container platforms
What You’ll Have
- Strong experience administering Windows Server, including: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Experience supporting Linux servers (Red Hat and Oracle)
- Hands‑on experience administering Kubernetes platforms in production environments
- Strong operational experience with Microsoft tooling, including SCOM, SCCM, DPM, WSUS, Intune and Microsoft Defender
- Practical experience supporting AWS public cloud infrastructure (IaaS), including core compute, storage and networking concepts
- A solid understanding of patch management, vulnerability management and security best practices across hybrid infrastructure environments
