Join to apply for the HR Advisor role at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. Here at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, we are looking for a HR Advisor to support our Engineering area of the business. The role will be based at Leeds Bradford Airport and you will be supporting 1000+ colleagues across the UK.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, our HR Advisor will provide generalist HR advice, support and guidance to some of our senior stakeholders within highâprofile areas of the business. This role will be centred around Employee Relations case work and you will be given the autonomy to make realâlife changes and improvements to your business area whilst working closely alongside the HR Business Partner and wider HR team.
The role is a great opportunity to gain exposure to some of our senior stakeholders who will look to you as a centre of excellence for all HRârelated matters; you will be dealing with highâvolume general queries or more complex queries on a smaller scale.
What Youâll Be Doing- Acting as the first point of contact for general HR queries, providing accurate and timely advice.
- Identifying where HR issues and queries need to be escalated to ensure the relevant action is taken.
- Responsible for inputting and maintaining ER Case Management information and reporting, ensuring accurate and upâtoâdate recording on HR Systems.
- Monitoring, analysing and reporting on key HR Data/KPIs such as attrition, sickness absence and other trends, and working with the HR Business Partner to address underlying issues.
- Supporting the HR Business Partner on adâhoc and cyclical projects and activities, ensuring they are delivered on time and that the information produced is clear and accurate.
- Developing and updating internal HR guidance/procedures on key HR processes as needed to ensure consistency and efficiency of service within the HR Team.
- Assisting the HR Business Partners and Learning & Development team in training and coaching managers on key policies and procedures, ensuring they have the right skills to manage their team effectively.
- Keeping updated on changes in employment law and HR best practice, ensuring the advice and support given is accurate and upâtoâdate.
- Carrying out any additional duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the HR service provision.
- Solid HR generalist experience in a dynamic, fastâpaced environment.
- Strong background in Employee Relations, including complex casework.
- Experience supporting managers with factâfind meetings, disciplinaries up to and including dismissal, grievances and absence management.
- Excellent communication and relationshipâbuilding skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to align HR practices with business goals.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure with resilience.
- Upâtoâdate knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Previous experience in a similar sector is desirable but not essential.
- A collaborative mindset and interest in contributing strategic HR project work.
- Hybrid working â office 2 days per week.
