As our new AWS Developer, you’ll have a major impact on helping us achieve our goal.
You’ll be supporting our AWS Connect applications in a fast-paced, time-critical environment. You’ll ensure that incidents are dealt with swiftly and professionally, respond to support tickets to resolve technical issues and provide guidance on best practices. You will also develop - to a high standard - features as requested and prioritised by the business. We will also rely on your expertise of the AWS environment to proactively propose improvements to Jet2's setup in order to prevent incidents and maintain the positive perception of AWS Connect.
AWS Developer, you’ll have access to a wide range of benefits including:

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Look after the day-to-day operation of our AWS Connect Environment and ancillary services.
- Be responsible for handling, prioritising and processing incidents and requests to ensure the continued operation of the AWS Connect platform.
- Manage requests through to completion, resolving or escalating in a timely manner to ensure that Service Levels are adhered to.
What You’ll Have:
- Demonstrable experience in developing on AWS, application support, software troubleshooting or technical customer support.
- Comfortable diagnosing issues across AWS environments.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
- Strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented with a drive to problem solve incidents efficiently and accurately.
- Familiarity with ITIL, incident management or ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with AWS Best Practice software development.
- Confidence to manage multiple incoming requests and prioritise tasks effectively.
