We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Duty Management team at Bournemouth Airport! As a Duty Manager, you will oversee the safe and efficient running of the Jet2.com customer‑facing operation, while liaising with service providers to ensure the best customer service is delivered in all areas of the operation. In this hands‑on role you will actively engage with our customers, leading by example to ensure the delivery of both landside and dispatch activities. You will also work closely with our third‑party partners to ensure adherence to Jet2.com's service specifications. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of our business.
What will you do in the role?
- Alongside your Duty Manager colleagues, you will lead the Front of House operational teams on shift at the airport and play a pivotal role in achieving our “On Time Performance” targets.
- Provide support and leadership to ensure colleagues and suppliers deliver and exceed Jet2.com standards for Safety and Customer Service.
- Maintain a primary focus on safety, ensuring that activities are adequately resourced, and procedures and regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Enable your teams to work together to deliver a first‑class customer service at the airport.
- You will work closely with the wider Jet2.com team and support or deputise for the Station Manager in key operational meetings.
- Work closely with your management colleagues to deliver an efficient and friendly service that meets the needs of our customers and promotes our brand values.
- You will be responsible for the development and management of a team of Passenger Service Supervisors and Station Controller teams, with indirect responsibility for the wider colleague population.
What are the key skills/experience you'll already have?

- You will have a proven track record of working in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing airport environment, with the ability to show flexibility and forward thinking in challenging operational situations.
- We are looking for motivated and engaging individuals with proven people‑management experience, who are committed to the development of others and who share our passion for delivering the highest standards in customer service and safety.
- Recent and relevant operational experience within an airport environment is essential for this role and you will ideally have experience of managing and building relationships with service providers and senior stakeholders.
