With sustained, secure growth and aircraft deliveries planned until 2035, now is a great time to join Jet2 as a Captain on our Airbus A321 fleet. 146 new Airbus A321neo aircraft are being introduced to our fleet over the coming years, with current direct entry Captain positions available at:

  • London Stansted
  • Manchester
  • London Gatwick
  • London Luton

Jet2 is the UK’s number one tour operator and a firm customer favourite. To achieve this, our UK bases are self-handled, reducing our reliance on third parties for ground operation services. Each base is managed by a current line Captain supported by a dedicated crew development team, there to manage your professional and personal journey.

Our A321 regular schedule is 2 sector days with full time Captains flying on average less than 750 hours each year. Our in-house ATO has 2 UK based training centres, and Captains are eligible for over 20 secondary roles in our training, technical or pastoral teams.

If you would like to be considered to become a Jet2 Captain on our Airbus A321 fleet, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • 3,000 hours total flying time with 1,000 hours PIC on A321 or similar sized jet aircraft. Ideally, large jet command time in the last 3 years.
  • Current or Former RAF Voyager Captains who meet the hours criteria are welcome to apply.
  • A valid UK unfrozen Flight Crew Licence
  • Minimum English Language Proficiency Level 5
  • Current Class One Medical
  • You must hold a current Airbus Type Rating
