The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

You will carry out all aspects of drain installation and repair, including excavating, trench support and reinstatements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working in confined spaces
  • Drain installation and repair including Section 104 work, CIPP Lining and Patch Repair
  • Thorough completion of site/works information on a tablet device
  • Carry out work in line with company health and safety policy and procedures
  • Good time management and working efficiently
  • Completing Drivers Hours Books and Vehicle Checks (Defect books)
  • General maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment
  • Be prepared to work weekends and away from home
  • Undertake all training and development as required
  • To understand risk assessments and to assess according to safe systems of work
  • Able to understand and carry out work as set out in a specification
  • Undertaken training on General Health & Safety awareness/ Risk Assessment awareness/Traffic Management/ Use of PDA as required by the company
  • Ability to use small plant and equipment

Qualifications

  • Driving license required (preferably including towing over 750kg)
  • CSCS Card required
  • Full Street Works accreditation (operative or supervisor)
  • Excavator up to 20 ton (preferred)
  • Forward tipping dumper
  • Confined Space Accreditation – Medium Risk
  • Driven and enthusiastic
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Focus, thoroughness and keen attention to detail
  • Solid problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Commitment to service excellence demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deliver results to strict/tight deadlines
  • Absolute willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Work on the Public Highway
  • Professional and flexible approach to work
  • Drain lining and patching experience (preferred)
  • Must be able to work as part of a team or under own initiative
