Jesus College are seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates for the position of West Court Night Manager. This is a hands‑on position responsible for managing the hotel reception desk at West Court during the hours of 21:00 to 07:00, welcoming guests to the College and ensuring a smooth check‑in or check‑out for guests who are departing early.
The West Court Night Manager will provide professional reception, administration and exceptional customer service and safety support. Duties include the planning and preparation of meeting and event space for the following day’s business, involving room set‑up and/or service, compliance checks, fault reporting and minor maintenance and housekeeping duties.
The successful candidate will act as the College’s Fire Warden for West Court providing in‑person support for all duties associated with the safety and security of guests during the night‑time hours. It is expected that candidates will have excellent customer service skills and considerable experience in a similar accommodation/hospitality or reservations environment as well as a high level of computer literacy. They should also have knowledge of effective health and safety management strategies and best practice incident reporting, alongside experience of fire safety management.
