College is seeking to appoint a Demi Chef de Partie to work as an effective member of the kitchen team in achieving the highest possible standard of hygiene, food safety, food preparation and presentation for the Fellows, students, staff and commercial guests of Jesus College.
The successful candidate will be expected to cook and present food as directed by the Head Chef / Senior Chefs across all the College’s kitchen operations and will be very flexible in their approach to duties, assisting in all kitchen sections to ensure the professional and prompt delivery of food related services.
The successful candidate will always maintain hygiene and food safety standards and follow all food safety and health and safety policies in place. They will listen carefully and take great care in following instructions and guidance from Chef de Partie and Senior Chefs.
They will have a can-do attitude towards learning, progression and developing their skills and carry out additional duties as requested by the Head Chef or Senior Chef on duty.
