Jesus College, Cambridge is seeking to appoint a professional, calm and polished Butler to join our Front of House team in the College’s Catering and Conference Department.
Responsibilities
- The College Butler supervises all front‑of‑house services for the Fellows’ meals and manages the domestic arrangements of the Fellows’ common rooms.
- They are responsible for the organisation and smooth delivery of all College Feasts, and similar events for the Fellowship and their guests, including regular official functions held in the Master’s Lodge.
- The Butler will provide attentive, discreet and proactive service.
- In addition, and particularly outside the University term, the Butler is expected to work with the Food and Beverage Manager and the wider catering team to deliver the smooth operation of the College catering function.
- They will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards across food and beverage service to Fellows, students, staff, and external customers.
