Jessy Care Ltd is a CQC-registered domiciliary care provider specialising in complex care, supporting people to live safely and independently in their own homes across Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Immingham, Scartho, Healing, New Waltham, North Thoresby and Louth. We are looking for caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our team over the festive period.
Duties include:
Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, continence and oral care
Supporting clients with medication in line with their care plans, recorded on our electronic system.
Preparing meals and drinks and supporting with eating and hydration
Assisting with moving and handling using equipment such as hoists, where required
Offering companionship and supporting clients with daily activities and community access
Following care plans and recording visit notes accurately
Monitoring clients’ wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns to the office promptly.
Following safeguarding, infection control and health and safety procedures
Previous care experience is desirable, but full training and support will be provided. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred. An enhanced DBS check is required.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to own car for work
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends, including over the Christmas and New Year period
- Right to work in the UK
- NO Sponsorship
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Good communication skills and a caring, reliable approach
- Understanding of personal care
- A caring, patient and compassionate approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
